Travelling around asia for 1 month

Go for the adventure - the huge mountains of Nepal , the lush jungles of Indonesia , and the absurdly exotic wildlife in India. Thailand is home to infamous full-moon parties, Bangkok ladyboys, mind-blowing cuisine, stunning beaches, and fine temples. Manila is very much like Bangkok in that it is crowded and filled with skyscrapers, yet it’s also worth exploring at least for a day.

There’s also a huge range of historical and cultural sights, natural beauty and adventure activities. Asia is a popular gap year destination and for good reason.

Adventure travel Asia. Trek through jungle to visit really old communities, keep your balance on bamboo rafts, take a trip on motorbike or kayak up the river. Have an adventure and travel through Asia. Student travel Asia. Asia has been the hottest student travel destination for ages.

I have done quite a bit of solo travel , but my jaunt around SEA was the first where I visited multiple cities and countries in a relative short amount of time. I am spending months travelling SE Asia and just wanted to know if we will be able to see all the countries listed in the first pic, including Borneo, Bali, Manila etc. I fell in love with India and am now based there in Goa.

I set up this blog to share my tips and experiences for traveling and working abroad to inspire and help you to travel more too. SOUTHEAST ASIA IN WEEKS OR MONTH. One month of travel is a great length of time while months is even better. You can focus on one country and check out its off-beaten track or you can combine two countries depending on how you will get from one place to another or how much you want to see in each country. Duration: This route is usually completed in 3-months.

Average budget per month : $500-$8USD. Rainy season hits most of SE Asia June to August. However, there are several microclimates so make sure. This all in all should take around hours. On your first day, we’d suggest heading to your hotel for an early night before your month of adventure begins.

Of course, it’s completely up to you whether you take that advice or not. Plan around the weather. Start in colonial streets of Hanoi ( ), the country’s historical, political and cultural capital. Go for a sail around the famed natural wonders of Ha Long Bay (2), before heading to the northern hills to the ethnic minority villages orbiting Sa Pa (3).

Asia is full of flair and flavour, a diverse delight which makes for a gorgeous gap year getaway. Colourful and cultural, Asia is rich in natural beauty and historic hot-spots. That’s without knowing your exact travel style though, so it’s always hard to say.

If you watch your spending you will probably be OK though. Keep an eye on your budget in southern Thailand or the touristy parts of Bali as the euros can flow more. By this point I’d spend over weeks travelling in South East Asia and still hadn’t seen a real beach, luckily this is where the islands at the south of Cambodia did not disappoint. With a mix of beautiful white beaches and dense jungle terrain, your time on the island of Koh Rong can’t go wrong. Look out for some epic weekly beach parties at some of the island’s bars.

We offer over 1trips, including volunteer programmes, working holiday packages, and adventure tours.
