Lavender farm season

Is lavender season over? Is there a lavender season in England? When is lavender season? Where is lavender farm in France?


Now, the field is open every day during the season (until August ) for visitors to explore, purchase and smell the abundance of lavender. With July and August the best time to see lavender flowering , the farm makes the perfect day out for adults and children alike.

The farm usually opens in March for the season. Mon-Sat 9am to 5pm, Sundays 10am to 5pm. We’re currently at the height of lavender season , and visiting your closest farm is the perfect summer activity. Lavender tours from £7. During the season, we are open days per week from 9am to 6pm (Last entry for cars is 5pm).


Entry is £per person. FREE entry for Children years and under. It opens from the end of April until the middle of November, farm tours are available every day in the lavender season , and outside the season every day except Wednesdays and Sundays.


They too have a wide range of their own, nicely package lavender products for you to buy.

As of now (July 23) the lavender is in flower and we expect it to continue to flower until mid to late August. Instagram and facebook for daily updates). At the peak of the summer sunshine the lavender is harvested and distilled by traditional methods and aged for a year before use. We have around miles of lavender rows which you can walk through. As well as the fields of lavender , we also grow sunflowers this year they will bloom mid August onwards.


We also and have a large wildflower area. The lavender season is drawing to a close. Not only will you get the endorphins boost of spending a bit more time in nature, but it has the added bonus of being an activity which easily adheres to social-distancing guidelines. Our hike takes us past and through the farm both out and back. We will be able to view the estate from the public footpath.


The plant will recover, but flowering is likely to be late this year. A lovely lavender farm in the heart of. We are located at 4McClelland Circle, on the Hwy 4bypass between Kroger and Western Elementary, and next door to McClelland View subdivision. Our last u-pick for the season was Sat, July 18th.


Throughout Autumn, there are pumpkins, hops, and our pretty little PYO apple orchard and in the Winter the shop is packed with Christmas food and gifts. With acres of the crop, the folks at Castle Farm cultivate the largest. Austin Farm’s acres of lavender fields straddle both sides of the Darenth Valley, offering incredible views of the fields of purple.


Rich in diverse agriculture, the farm also produces hops, apples and pumpkins, as well as staple cereals including wheat and peas. The majority of lavender usually starts blooming in late June and reaches its peak from around mid July to early August.

Less numerous, later flowering varieties of lavender remain in bloom into mid August. Written by Janine Marsh. The large gift shop was well stocked but mostly not lavender products.
