What is ecotourism and why is it important

Also called “nature tourism”, the objective of ecotourism is to minimize the impact brought about by tourism on the environment. The idea is to focus on uniting conservation, communities and sustainable development through the means of travel. What does eco tourism mean? People who engage in ecotourism need to abide by certain guidelines. Sounds kind of airy-fairy to me.

This also reaps financial benefits in the form of protecting the touristic sites.

Ecotourism is all about active tourism. To add to that idea, not only is ecotourism intended to have less environmental impact than traditional tourism, but it also holds the potential to improve the social, cultural and economic well-being of travel destinations and local communities across the globe. That makes for one heck of a carbon footprint and a lot of pollution and environmental degradation. We may all have different reasons and motives to embrace and support ecotourism.

Tourism by its very nature affects the natural environment. An important fact of eco-friendly travels is avoiding “green” traps. Why we need ecotourism.

Some people mistake any form of nature travel with ecotourism. Just because you’re in nature.

Mass tourism is on the rise and becoming an ever-growing issue. Tourism is a comprehensive and fast-growing industry and it offers asignificant part to world GDP. With so many more people being able to travel these days this means more impact on places visited. I think living in Australia where we have such a sensitive ecosystem in places, we are very aware of the damage that can be caused and the long term effect.

Things are rarely simple, however, and ecotourism. The aim of ecotourism is to reduce the impact that tourism has on naturally beautiful environments. Any tourist destination can be harmed by. Costa Rica ecotourism in particular has a large number of locations to choose from.

You may even want to become involved in preservation efforts yourself. To include to that particular notion, just not only is ecotourism intended to don’t have them as much green effect than a conventional tour, it also continues to maintain the chance to improve the interpersonal, ethical and financial wellness of travel vacation spots and native communities worldwide. I must confess, I really enjoy the thrill and excitement of traveling to natural areas and participating in this relatively new thing called “ ecotourism ”, but it’s much more than just a hobby. The importance of ecotourism is spreading all over the world. And the ecotourism is called sustainable tourism.

You can travel to show respect to nature. It is a variety of travel practice. Also the ecotourism is ability of environmental conservation. And you can improve the standard of their living.

However many sources suggest that most ecotourism efforts have focused towards advancing the economic objectives rather than protecting the very resources that attract visitors. Helps in protections of sensitive environmental locations.

The protection should be given to the sensitive environmental areas to maintain their unique qualities of environment. A perfect example of this is travelling to Mexico and learning how to help save sea turtles from plastic pollution. Vietnam has a rich bio-system from the North to the South.

Due to the climatic condition, the country is home to thousands of faunal and floral species, not to mention many newly found one in recent years. Such potential is a big advantage for the travel industry, especially ecotourism.
