By this point I’d spend over weeks travelling in South East Asia and still hadn’t seen a real beach, luckily this is where the islands at the south of Cambodia did not disappoint. With a mix of beautiful white beaches and dense jungle terrain, your time on the island of Koh Rong can’t go wrong. Look out for some epic weekly beach parties at some of the island’s bars. A one-way flight from Sydney to Melbourne, for example, will cost around £3 or if you’re looking at heading from the East Coast to West Coast, Melbourne to Perth one-way starts from around £69.
